IFHIMA was delighted to host this interview with two baccalaureate health information management/health informatics students from University of Washington in Seattle, Roland Foto and Morgann Carr.
Roland and Morgann completed their graduation Capstone project with IFHIMA, focusing on learnings from the 2026 Focus on the Future of HIM series. The 2026 series builds from the 2025 series with four, two-hour events held in April and May 2026. Roland and Morgann attended the first three events focusing on digital health, AI in Healthcare, and coding, classifications and terminology.
The podcast explores:
- How Roland and Morgann came to the HI/HIM program at UW Seattle
- Their learnings from the Digital Health April 15 Focus on the Future of HIM event and how this may shape their career
- A key takeaway from the May 13 Coding, Classifications and Terminologies event
IFHIMA is always excited to hear from emerging professionals. We thank Morgann and Roland for their contributions to IFHIMA and wish them well in their careers.
