2025 Focus on the Future of HIM

You won’t want to miss the IFHIMA virtual series that will aid our members and global colleagues in staying abreast of industry happenings and help them prepare for the future of the health information and health Information management profession.

This 2025 Three-part Series, offered live or recorded, will be held February 26, March 26 and April 30. There will be a different focus for each date. Registration is available for an individual event, or for the series. Tickets are competitively priced. Continuing education credits pending from our Member Nations.

If you’re not able to attending person, no worries, the recordings, presentations, and other resources will be available approximately a week after the event.

We will be using Zoom Business for this series, which will provide translation to most languages based upon your sign-in preference if you listen live. Hear more about this as dates approach.

Continuing Education Credit/Hours

IFHIMA is grateful for the support of our member nations.  We will post updates about continuing education credits as received.  Attendance certificates will be produced by IFHIMA approximately ten days after each Event (February 26, March 26, April 30) substantiating the Program contents and attendance.  

The Health Information Association of Australia, HIMAA, will award 20 CPD for each event attended.  

Per AHIMA, “This program has been approved for continuing education unit(s) (CEUs) for use in fulfilling the continuing education requirements of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Granting of Approved CEUs from AHIMA does not constitute endorsement of the program content or its program provider.” Each event attended is eligible for three (3) continuing education units.  The full Program contains the domains for each speaker

Educational Institutions

A exciting new offering will be available for this three part series, specifically targeting the future health information workforce that’s vital to improving health data.   
An education institution registration category will be offered to health information, health informatics, health information management and coding certificate Programs. To be eligible, the educational institution must have a Program that is recognized by a certifying or accrediting body, or the applicable government entity.
