FOCUS ON THE FUTURE OF HIM 2026

 

Each event will be two (2) hours in length and will include a panel discussion after three (3) speakers.  Speaker presentations will be approximately 20 minutes with five minutes Q and A, for a total of 25 minutes.  All accepted proposals must be free of vendor bias or marketingPlease do not submit proposed content that would exceed 20 minutes.  Panels will be defined by the event host after review of speaker proposals.  Speakers will be notified in January 2026.  NO confirmation of submittals is feasible, but we will do a mass acknowledgment in early December to all submitters.

    ICD-11- how to use automaton/AI/LLMs for coding. Using ICD-11 across the whole healthcare system. SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICF, ICHI, FDC
    How are educational programs surviving the economic and workforce pressures. How educational programs are incorporating AI into their curriculum. How credentials/microcredentials are strengthening the role of HIM professional in AI era. How AI may impact credentialing and accreditation processes including competencies, certifications and other aspects program design and accreditation
    Success stories that highlight HIM as a leader in modernizing a governance program.
