20th Congress Scholarship Drive Donation Form

A pillar of IFHIMA’s Strategic Plan is to strengthen its relationships and HIM practice with developing nations (herein after referred to as low or lower-middle income country). The 20th Congress Scholarship Drive will raise funds to support the attendance of Health Information Management (HIM) professionals from low or lower-middle income countries who meet certain criteria and may otherwise not be able to travel to the 20th Congress in Brisbane, AU.

Donors will be recognized (with permission granted) during the Congress in the exhibition area, the Congress program, and in post Congress communication activities. Additionally, donors will be acknowledged on the IFHIMA and HIMAA websites.

Scholarship awardee(s) will receive registration and potentially a stipend (to be paid upon Congress attendance) to help defray some of their travel expenses. To be considered, applicants must be working in the HIM profession and reside in a low or lower-middle income country per the World Bank criteria. Additional eligibility details can be found on the IFHIMA website, with applications being accepted from May 15-June 30.

While IFHIMA anticipates dispensing all funds to scholarship recipients, surplus donated funds, if any, will be transferred to the IFHIMA Scholarship Fund and the 20th Congress donors will be recognized as the donor.

We hope you will consider donating at any of the following levels. Donations are being accepted by IFHIMA a 501(c)(3) non-profit, per US tax code*.
