Governance & Leadership of IFHIMA

The immediate past president will serve on the executive board in an ex-officio capacity for at least one year. An ex-officio board member, membership chair/treasurer, will be appointed by the president at the beginning of each term of office, and will serve the same term as the president. The executive board meets face-to-face annually and works by means of e-mail and quarterly conference calls in between meetings. The executive board reports to the general assembly, which meets at the time of the international congress every three years.
